Affection can be checked by clicking on the 'MomoTalk' smartphone icon on your home screen. This stat can be raised by tapping on themstudents onin yourthe dorms[[Cafe]], giving them gifts while they are in yourthe dormscafe, or selectselecting them on the schedule. Check the table on the bottom of the page for a list of who likes what gifts[[Schedule]].
 
1 and 2 -star characters are only able to reach an Affection level of up to 10. NotablyMaximum Affection level for characters that start at 3-star rarity or get upgraded to it is 20, 1maximum &level 2is further upgraded to 100 at 5-star charactersrarity. canCharacters bereceive rankedsmall stat bonuses for every Affection level achieved up to 350, starsspecific viabonus theiris individual per-character shard(students with alts share the stat bonus) and can gobe pastseen thison 10their Affection levelrespective cappages.

Raising the Affection stat will give the character small bonuses to their stats and unlock their Live2D background (Memorial Lobby) for your homescreen after reaching a certain milestone. However, raising Affection levels past 20 no longer gives these bonuses. Here is the table of when each Live2D CG is unlocked.

Ayane
Gifts are the fastest way of increasing student Affection level. While students will accept any gifts, each has a preference for specific categories of gifts that they like, and one or more favorite gifts, that provide maximum amount of Affection points.
 
Holding a gift in the [[Cafe]] will make all present characters display how much they'd like it with following icons.
