Where do I get the game?
Both the Global and JP versions of the game can be downloaded from the Google Playstore if Android or the Appstore if iOS on your mobile device. Note that the JP version of the game is region locked to Japan so you will need to download the game using a third party appstore such as qooapp or download the apk of it.
Game also supports Emulator usage so you can download the game and play using a emulator such as Bluestacks or LDplayer.

When does the server reset?
The game can be downloaded from the Google Playstore or the iOS Appstore.
Server reset happens at 04:00 AM JST time or 19:00 UTC for both the Japanese and Global versions of the game.

What is Rerolling? Should I reroll?
If the game shows that it is incompatible with your devices or unavaliable in your region then you might want to use a 3rd party Appstore like Qooapp or sideload the APK using a trusted APK downloader site.
Rerolling is when you reset your account after doing your initial gacha pulls before starting the game. This is process can be very time consuming as you are at the mercy of the gacha RNG. This is often done by people who want a head start in the game and can afford to spend the time required to do so. If you have the time to do so and want a head start in the game then it is recommended you do so but the game is perfectly playable and able to be completed without having to reroll.

For more information on how to reroll or who to reroll for, please check Rerolling
You can also play the game using an Android emulator like Nox, Bluestacks, Memu or LDPlayer to play the game if you don't own an Android/iOS device.

Why is the game in Japanese? Is there no English version?
How do banner pities work?
Global version launched on November 8th.
The pity system in Blue Archive works in the way that you can guarantee one of the rate up characters by doing 200 rolls on it. This counter will not reset until the end of the banner but choosing to exchange your points for a rate up character will subtract 200 rolls from it. Keep in mind this counter will reset to zero at the end of every banner and does not carry over. Also worth noting the standard banner does not have a pity system so you will not rack up points by rolling on it. Keep in mind one pity is 24,000 Pyroxene so make sure to save at least one pity or have one pity on hand if there's an upcoming character you want.

How friendly is the game if I don't want to spend money?
Links:
The game is pretty generous but don't expect to be clearing endgame content day one because you need to build and grow your account first. If you want to play it for the collection aspect, then you'll have to come to terms with the fact that you won't be able to have every single character as a F2P player but you should be able to easily get all your favorites. If you want to play it for the trophies and achievements, then this will be a lot easier to do in the Europe or North American servers as Asia tends to be a lot more competitive and Korea/Japan are extremely competitive. Things might get frustrating starting out because you have too many things you need to be doing or want to do but it gets a lot better eventually as you start to settle down and develop your account more with time and patience. Handouts are pretty common and happen often so you should be able to secure a decent pyroxene income per month and limited characters rerun later on so you don't permanently miss on anything.

What Can I playis the gamebest ifway Ito don'tlevel knowmy any Japaneseaccount?
Stamina and Account level are 1:1 no matter what so good places to spend AP are events, farming for things you need such as equipments for your characters or progressing on story. Don't be focused on trying to 3-star every stage early on and go as far as you can even if it's only 1-star clears for the sake of progression and advancing because you can go back later and get a full clear. Also worth mentioning that using your Pyroxene on AP refreshes during 2x campaign drops or 3x campaign drops is highly worth it but the value of refreshes drops every time the price increases so stick to doing only 3 refreshes a day if unsure. Of course, spending too much might be a bad idea if you are saving for a particular unit so please use your judgement and resource management abilities to decide when its best to do so.

How do I get more student backgrounds?
Yes, the game is easy to navigate if you don't know Japanese and this wiki aims to make the experience easier.
The special Memorial Lobby image for each student is obtained by increasing their affection via tapping them on the Cafe, tapping them on Schedule or giving them gifts. Doing so will increase their affection and you will be given the ability to text them using the MomoTalk system and you will be rewarded with their special Memorial Lobby image at a certain affection level that varies from character to character. For more information, visit Affection.
<!--- For later: adding info about on-screen translator apps like U-Dictionary. --->

What is Rerolling?the Should I do itCafe?
The Cafe is unlocked after clearing Normal mission 2-1 and is an important part of the game. Here, you can raise affection with your students by tapping on them or giving them gifts. You can also claim Stamina and Credits that cafe passively generates over time. How much Stamina and Credits you can generate on a hourly basis depends on the level of the Cafe and its Comfort level.

For more detailed information, please see Cafe
Rerolling is the act of restarting your game and wiping your game data until you get your desired start or a set of units you like. There are a few known methods to do this:

How does Crafting work?
Rerolling with Salted Email on a Phone (no clear data)
Crafting is a mode unlocked after clearing 3-2 where you can use your crafting materials to obtain various resources such as Furniture, BDs, tech notes, reports and other things.

For more detailed information, please see Crafting
First, log in with a guest account. Complete the tutorial and then collect all rewards from your mailbox then use those rewards to roll more. If you like what you got then you can start playing but if you don't then you can bind the account to Yostar using a 'Salted Email'. This involves putting a + after your email so your email becomes myemail+text@gmail.com. That text can be numbers, letters or anything you want.

What is Eligma?
After that, go back to the title screen then click the bottom left button and log in with a guest account again. Your previous account should be gone and the guest account should be a fresh account so you can repeat this process until you achieve your desired start.
'Eligma' is the name given to the purple pieces you get when you roll the gacha. You will get Eligma and character specific eligmas. The generic purple ones can be spent in the shop for character specific Eligma but note you can only buy in batches of 20 before the cost increases by 1, capping at 5 per 1 Character specific Eligma. Character Specific Eligmas can be used to rank up characters and rank up their Unique Equipments once they are at Five-stars. Be extremely wise on how you use this limited resource because it is one of your most important resources, second only to your gacha currency. If you don't know what to do with them or or are unsure then ask around and be really sure you want to do that because you can only obtain more by rolling the gacha.
Note that you can only use the generic Eligma pieces to buy pieces of characters you own.

What should I buy in the shops?
The menu to link accounts can be found by going to the title screen and pressing the button located at the top right corner of the screen then press the icon that has a student card on it. You will see two lines that say "Yostar" and "Twitter" so just press the button to the right of those lines to link to that service. Press the button again and follow the instructions to unlink from that service.
In the credit shop, it's recommended to buy out all the mats and equipment orbs if you can afford it.
In the Total Assault shop, you want to get most of these characters to at least 5* and some to max UE. For information on who to prioritize, please consult an up to date meta guide or ask experienced users in a community.
In the PVP shop, buy out the Energy drinks during a campaign or event where you want to be able to farm a lot. Else, save your PVP coins until this occasion.

For the Eligma shop, you should never buy materials with Eligma. Always dedicate your Eligmas for character specific ones instead of buying mats with them unless you are putting huge amounts of money into this game and have more than you know what to do with.
Binding to Yostar will ask you to write your email on the text box at the top then press the blue button in that pop-up to send a verification code to your email. Write the code you got on the textbox located at the bottom then confirm to bind your account to Yostar. You will be able to confirm your account was successfully bound if your e-mail is shown next to the field where it says "Yostar".

Should I join a club?
NOTE: This method (sadly) does not work for the international Nexon version of the game; Nexon account creation rejects salted emails as invalid. You will need a valid email account each time you create a new Nexon account. However, there is now a "reset account" button just below the bind account button in the Accounts menu once you bind to a Nexon account; if you are absolutely certain you wish to dispose of the current content of the account, you may select this option to reset the account to a pristine state and reroll. You may do this as many times as you wish, but a reset account cannot be reverted.
Joining a club is extremely recommended because you will be able to borrow students from the club and this will make all the difference in the world for the harder content in the game so make sure to join a good club if you can.

Why can't I find my friends club?
Rerolling with Twitter link
Assuming you did not mistype the name, global servers are sub-divided into three. You can check yours by clicking on Menu, Account then version info. If you want to play with your friends then make sure this matches with theirs or else you will not be able to. If you want to play on the same region as your friend then make sure to download the application using an account from that country. Regions are North America, Europe (Global), Asia, TW/HK and Korea.

What is the Anniversary in account settings?
Similar to the above method but instead of linking your data to a Yostar account, you will be linking it to your Twitter account then unlinking it by pressing the same button and repeating the process to link it.
You can set your birthday here and characters will wish you a happy birthday on this day. Tap on them to receive a special birthday line available only this day. Every character has a different line.

What is this rainbow Secret tech sheet?
Rerolling with Emulator/Rooted phone
It's the material used to raise a student's skill to Level 10. You can obtain this via several ways such as buying it in the shops or obtaining it as a mission reward from events.

Is it worth doing the raid if I'm weak?
Same as the above two but instead of linking your guest data to anything, you will delete it by navigating to "/data/data/com/YostarJP.BlueArchive/shared_prefs" on your emulator and delete "airisdk_shared.xml" whenever you want to clear the current account.
Yes. Always do content and push until you're comfortable doing. Higher stages and difficulties tend to be better but don't sweat it and stick to what you can comfortably clear.

Raid coins are extremely important and one of your main ways to get stronger. Golden raid coins are used to buy character shards and BDs/Tech notes to skill up your characters which is extremely important if you want to get stronger while purple coins should be mainly used for character fragments because these are harder to get than yellow ones. If you want more detailed explanation on raids then check the Raid page or use the raid guides linked in the External links section below.
If you want to keep an account but don't want to link it to a service then you can generate a transfer code instead.

Who or What am Iare rerollingExpert forPermits?
Expert Permits are the currency for a shop available to max level players. The requirement to obtain this currency is to be max level then you will earn it automatically when you spend AP. You can sometimes earn a very small amount of permits from daily/weekly missions but your main income will be spending AP at max level.

Can I claim the Limited Students through exchanging Expert Permits? How often does the Expert Permit shop resets?
Characters that make you happy, characters you want or characters that will help you advance faster. Keep in mind that the meta for the game will constantly change so try to aim for characters that will keep you playing for longer instead of characters you don't like but are aiming for because they're considered good. It's better to find a happy medium between characters you like and characters that are good at gameplay and will help you advance faster.

You can't claim limited students via this method, you need to have pulled them first because these eligmas can only be used to rank them up. This shop resets monthly but keep in mind you can only obtain currency for this shop when you are at max level.
Consider reading Reroll targets for an overview of units that have been proven to stay relevant to half-anniversary and beyond.

IWhat gotshould anI accountbe Idoing daily like,in nowthe whatgame?
Usually the gameplay loop revolves around doing the current event, raid or time attack if there is one. The best stage to farm in events varies from event to event but generally you want to finish the event before moving on to other things.
Now it's time to clear main stages as far as you can. Nearly everything is locked until you finish the stage that unlocks it so make sure to push story until you get stuck then improve your team until you can push through.

For raids, you should be checking resources to see what raid is next and raise your units for that raid and slowly build your characters until you have built a team for every raid by doing this. For example, if Binah is the next raid then building for Perorozilla would be a terrible move so focus on building for the current raid or the next raid. If you need raid information then please check the dedicated Raid guide or the raid guide linked at the bottom.
Important milestones are 3-5, 6-1, 6-5, 9-5 and 12-5. 3,6,9 and 12-5 unlock Cafe upgrades that improve your Credit/Stamina regen per hour while 6-1 unlocks the PVP feature. It's not confirmed how PVP works but it is thought by many that the optimal way to progress is to rush to 6-1 as fast as you can to unlock PVP then refresh PVP attempts to climb until you can't beat anyone anymore, hopefully obtaining #1 in the process.

For Time Attack, you want to clear the highest difficulty you can possibly do comfortably. You can build for these if you want but it is recommended to focus your attention in building for raids or progressing story instead of these.
How do I gain account levels?
Account XP is gained at 1:1 rate for all stamina spent. Stamina automatically regenerates at a fixed rate of 1 per 6 minutes on your account (up to maximum cap, dependent on level), additional stamina sources are: Cafe, daily and weekly quests, and Arena store. Stamina can also be recharged with Pyroxene, or bought at the cash shop.

Other than this, you should follow the in-game mission list that walks you through all the things you should be doing daily until you have completed all of them other than the recharge your AP with pyroxene mission that can be skipped.
Help! I'm stuck! How do I get stronger?
For starters, make sure you made a proper team. A proper team for missions consists of one tank character, three damage dealers and two support slots. Normally you bring 1-2 healers in the support slots but you can ditch the 2nd healer and bring someone else if you don't need all that healing.

External Links and Resources
You will also want to keep in mind the Weapon triangle and bring the correct type versus the type of enemy you are fighting.

From the above table, we can see the game works on a simple Rock-Paper-Scissors format. A good way to remember the triangle is to simply match the color and bring Red units versus Red armor, Yellow units versus Yellow armor and Blue units versus Blue armor.

Good 2* and below tanks are Yuuka and Tsubaki. Both of these go beyond good and are among the best tanks you can get.

Good Explosion damage at 2* and below would be Mutsuki, Akari and Serika

Good Penetration damage at 2* and below would be Nonomi, Junko and Pina.

Good Mystic damage at 2* and below would be Chise.

Remember to keep your units leveled because their max level is limited to your account level and try to get them their Equipment if you are able because the last tier of equipment makes a huge difference.

At what time is the server reset?
Server daily reset is at 4 AM JST. On the home screen there is a clock in the bottom right hand corner of the screen showing the current time in JST.

What is Crafting? What things should I prioritize when Crafting?
A more detailed explanation of what is Crafting can be found in it's own page but for Priorities, you want to go for Furniture until you reach maximum 'Comfy' stat for your dorms then Gifts for your girls and then everything else.

What is Affinity?
Each character has a separate "Affinity" stat for each of the three environments currently in the game (Urban, Outdoor and Indoor).

A character's affinity for a particular environment affects both the amount of damage they deal and the effectiveness of hiding behind cover in that environment. This means that certain characters are more suited to combat in certain environments, and vice versa.

The table below details the damage modifier and effectiveness of cover for each possible affinity value.
Note that SS SS isn't normally present from the beginning, and can only be reached through unique weapon offsets.
<table class="wikitable">
<tr><th>&nbsp;</th><th>Icon</th><th>Damage modifier</th><th>Effectiveness of cover</th></tr>
<tr><td>SS</td><td align="center">SS</td><td>130%</td><td>75%</td></tr>
<tr><td>S</td><td align="center">S</td><td>120%</td><td>60%</td></tr>
<tr><td>A</td><td align="center">A</td><td>110%</td><td>45%</td></tr>
<tr><td>B</td><td align="center">B</td><td>100%</td><td>30%</td></tr>
<tr><td>C</td><td align="center">C</td><td>90%</td><td>15%</td></tr>
<tr><td>D</td><td align="center">D</td><td>80%</td><td>0%</td></tr>

I'm playing global version of the game, what's our upcoming banner?
Consult Banner List (Gacha) to get a basic idea of upcoming banners. Global version appears to be following broadly the same banner sequence, albeit with some timing changes.
