Using certain units in this event will grant you a bonus for the event when included in your party. All units listed also give +1 to event points earned in quests. These bonuses stack and clearing once will unlock the ability to skip that stage. The skip feature will take the party that has the highest bonus rewards out of all the parties you have used to clear the stage with so make sure to try to aim for the highest bonus possible for that stage before spending stamina on skips for that stage.
