Starting with raid season 65 on Japanese server, new Reward Insurance system has been implemented. Should the raid attempt fail through forfeiture or timing out, player will still receive {{ItemCard|Raid Coin}},{{ItemCard|Rare Raid Coin}}, and ranking Pt for the raid tier below the one attempted (i.e. a failed INSANE raid attempt will still grant EXTREME-tier coin rewards).
Reward Insurance can only be activated 1 time per day. NORMAL difficulty raids are not subject to insurance.

The Raid system (or 総力戦, Total Assault) has you challenge bosses of different difficulties using tickets and is unlocked after clearing world 4-1.
You get three tickets a day and can only hold 3 at a time so it is important to do your daily raids whenever this event is around.
The available boss varies depending on season and event but they will always come with seven difficulties being NORMAL, HARD, VERY HARD, HARDCORE, EXTREME, INSANE and TORMENT.
You start out with the first difficulty NORMAL, and access to higher raid difficulties requires a clear of the previous difficulty, as reflected from the ingame raid menu when a raid is active.
This means with 3 tickets you get everyday, you can only do NORMAL, HARD, VERY HARD on the first day, HARDCORE, EXTREME, INSANE on the second day, and TORMENT from the third day onward, in order. The leaderboard also reflects this, with only up to VERY HARD clears on the first day, INSANE clears on the second day, and so on.
For example, if you want to do TORMENT raid difficulty, you have to do all other raid difficulties at least once, from NORMAL to INSANE.
In this mode, you can use several teams to defeat the raid boss but you will be scored based on total time spent in combat across all your teams.
Teams you use will be locked with all the units in that team being unavailable for use after their timer runs out or they die in battle so you will have to use different characters for each team.
You can choose to start a practice battle to fight the boss and get used to the fight by selecting a difficulty and then pressing the blue button to not consume a ticket, or you can use the other button to consume a ticket and start a battle.
Every raid battle is limited to 60 minutes of real time. Once ticket is used and the timer starts, the boss must be defeated within an hour, otherwise the raid is considered to have been a failure.
Once you have started a battle, you will be prompted to select a team. A timer of 60 minutes will start once first team enters combat.
In the event of game crash, forced client closure, or connection loss the fight is considered to have never happened and you can reuse that team, but the overall 60-minute realtime timer will still be counting down.
Forfeiting the battle via menu will count as a defeat and count as if that team died in battle, making it unusable. Locked characters can not be used again until the next raid attempt.
Aforementioned mechanics had historically lead to players force-closing the game if they wanted to change team composition without locking out characters. JP version of the game has introduced a "Retry from team formation" button, which allows to reform team and reenter combat without forfeiting.

Amount of items that can be purchased from the store is limited, but the shop gets restocked whenever a new raid begins. With the addition of Insane difficulty tier, Rare Raid Coins and a set of items sold for that currency exclusively, are added.
